Do the ear wires in your earrings hurt your ears? Most ladies are allergic to the nickel in the ear wires. My ear wires are gold plated with no nickel or pure silver. Send me the earrings that hurt your ears and I'll replace them with nickel free ear wires. If you are extremely allergic, ear wires can be provided of pure gold for an extra charge.
I am located in Alameda, California and can teach classes anywhere in the San Francisco bay area. We can also meet one on one for a private jewelry lesson.
If you are a senior I teach class at the Mastick Senior Center in Alameda. It's $15 per student and materials are included for you to make a necklace and a pair of earrings.
This woven jewelry is made on a loom and takes about 4 hours per necklace.Click on a picture to get a larger image.
These are created by weaving the beads and wire together using a spool. It's like the spools with nails in the top we used as kids with yarn.
I can make these in any colored bead. Pure silver or gold colored wire can be used. If made with gold colored wire the cost is half as much as the silver. I've made dozens of these woven necklaces. The longer ones can be tied in a overhand knot for a cute look.
